I’m always on the lookout for healthy recipes and my sister suggested we make granola because it was easier and cheaper than buying the stuff, with half the sugar too! A lot of things are going on in my life at the moment. My end of year exams have now finished *phew* and I am working and exercising more than ever! I’ve also been busy sorting out visas for the US, and making plans for my impending 20th birthday. Basically, my life is being turned upside down as a lot of things come to a close, and new opportunities arise. I still can’t quite believe that I’m going to spend my third year studying in America!

Hello! So it’s apparently my first anniversary since creating this blog, would you believe it? I’m very sorry I’ve been a lazy git and have vast periods of inactivity, it’s not easy juggling university, essays, exams and a year long trip to America! I felt like I needed to celebrate this year and realised that I’ve had these photos sitting around on my laptop for a few months now. So, whilst I am ill and bed bound, I feel like it is time to give you guys another recipe thats worth celebrating! I hit a real wall this month. I kinda lost my liking for cake. Sure, it’s edible and all, but it just hasn’t excited me recently. I know, it’s a scandalous admittance, but it’s bumming me out as much as it is you, okay? I think me and cake just need a little break y’know? Some me time. Some time with the cookies and no bake recipes of the world. I’m just going to have some time with my precious nutribullet smoothies that everyone thinks I’m crazy for liking. Yeah. Dear cake, I’ll come back for you on a rainy day. I’ll learn to cherish you once more someday…
P.S. Brownies are definitely a cake grey area/exception.
Um, hi. I know it’s been too long since I last posted anything here but with my hectic christmas baking and non stop working to pay the rent, time has been a little more precious than usual. I think we all know the feeling of collapsing into bed after being run off our feet all day. I neglected the gym (which is my life’s staple apart from baking), I ate far too much chocolate and food, and I lazed around. If I give you cake as an apology, do you think you have it in your hearts to forgive me? Please? I’ll give you a nice big slice 😛
